The Montecristo N.2 is one of the most appreciated by fans who prefer figured Habanos, with a magnificent personality and great character from the most classic blend of the Montecristo brand.

The Montecristo Cigar Brand refers to the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas, The Count of Montecristo, one of the most demanded readings by the Cuban cigar rollers at the factories.

The Montecristo N.2 has a very characteristic flavour, woody, fluffy and with a slightly sweet finish, just right, with a pinch of salt; magnificent draw, like that of all the Pyramids, the aroma is intense tobacco, somewhat spicy, with notes of leather and wood and a slightly sweet hint of honey and cocoa, the ash light grey metallic.

The Montecristo No.2 cigar is a must for all the aficionados Humidors, an excellent option for experienced smokers who desire the most emblematic flavours of Habanos and the Island of Cuba.

Given its size and strength, it is a perfect cigar for after lunch and dinner; it will give you from 45 to 90 minutes of smoke and it will perfectly pair with coffee, whisky or rum, tequila reposado and ageing.

Probably the most famous cigar brand. It was founded in 1935 and the name was inspired by the Alexander Dumas’s book “The count of Monte Cristo”. They are characterized for its strength (medium to full). The Montecristo Cigars are filled with tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region, known as the best tobacco in the world.     As this was my first order of Cuban cigars it definitely won’t be my last. Arrived pretty much on time, and in good condition. Only smoked 2, 1st on day of arrival and 2nd a week later. The others will rest for a while.

    It took a month for my order to arrive in Manila even with express delivery, but I suppose that’s because of COVID-related delays. The cigars arrived with no problems and in excellent condition. Smoked one after 3 weeks from arrival. Attractive reddish-brown wrapper with aromas of leather, cocoa and hay. Smooth, earthy flavors of nuts, coffee, nutmeg and cinnamon. Medium strength at the start, finishing medium-plus with more spiciness. A leisurely 2-hour smoke! A classic Montecristo and one of the best ever.

    I bought 15 of these and so far have smoked three. All three had plugs in the middle. The first two, I just suffered with it until it burned to the plug. The third, I bought a $30 tool (Perfect Draw 2.0) to scoop out some tobacco to open the plug. For the price of these cigars, or honestly for any cigar, you should not use phrases like “I just suffered with it” or “I bought a $30 tool”. You smoke cigars for enjoyment, not sustenance. Those phrases do not convey enjoyment. To be fair, the flavor profile is excellent, and so is the draw once you deal with the plug. Maybe I just had bad luck and most of these don’t have that problem, but I can only report what I experience, not what I speculate. I would not buy these again unless I also bought, or already owned, a Perfect Draw or similar tool. I have not had this problem with Partagas, Hoyos, RyJ, or the Montecristo No. 4.

    Ordered a box of 10, and they arrived very quickly! Customer service is A-1. I requested sealed box, and photo of the box so that I can know what I was getting and they accomodated my request. The cigars arrived in great condition with about a yearof age on the box. Montefortuna is my go to for Habanos orders.
