Probably the most famous cigar brand. It was founded in 1935 and the name was inspired by the Alexander Dumas’s book “The count of Monte Cristo”. They are characterized for its strength (medium to full). The Montecristo Cigars are filled with tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region, known as the best tobacco in the world. In the flavor profile there are aromas of black pepper, tea leaves, peanuts and leather. By the end of the fortress increases markedly. As a result, Montecristo Linea 1935 Maltes cigars leave a very pleasant experience!

As I smoked all of three Lineas i would find it interesting that from one cigar to another they got better. My favourite is the Leyenda, then the Maltes and at last the Dumas. However your smoking time will pick which one is better for the occasion. Just like the leyenda this is a creamy yet strong cigar, I would find the Leyenda and Maltes pretty much the same, except for lenght and a feeling that the Maltes is a hint stronger. As far as the pairing goes i paired it with some Havana club Anejo 7 and it paired great.
