The Punch Short de Punch with a good thick ring gauge and a length just 4 millimeters shorter than the Robustos, shows the possibility of finding a great wealth of nuances, well-rounded tobacco flavors and a medium-type strength.
The Punch Short de Punch is cigar factory format Paraísos, it is a 50 ring gauge x 120mm long, with a soft to medium strength, it is characterized by a color between red and mature brown, quite fine wrapper, manufactured totally by hand.
The Punch Short de Punch has a very characteristic flavor, tobacco, quite woody, with bitter and earthy tips, quite toasted and smoky, somewhat mineral, with mild spices and sweetness that leaves us memories of almond, leather, with lightly disturbed tips, smoked cedar, coffee and cocoa tips, light tips of sea salt, vanilla, a touch of nutmeg and honey; magnificent draw, the aroma is tobacco, woody, herbaceous, roasted, spicy and sweet, which leaves us with memories of hay, fresh cedar, coffee, hazelnut, vanilla, honey and light tips of white pepper, the ash medium gray with dark gray streaks, both matte, compact and durable.
Given its size and strength it is a perfect cigar for any time of a day; good on weekends, it will give you from 30 to 45 minutes of smoke and it will perfectly pair with coffee, rum and even a fresh beer in summertime.

Punch was founded in 1840 and it is one of the oldest brands alive. In 1931 its production was moved to Hoyo de Monterrey’s. Both brands are still produced in the same factory. My box arrived in perfect condition. Montefortuna does an excellent job of packaging what they sell by stretch-wrapping boxes, zip-locking packs, and including 72% RH Boveda packs with each item.
