Pre-light/Construction: Reminds me of a NUB. Milk chocolate brown hue, light visible seams, triple cap. Hay from the wrapper and cedar and cocoa from the foot. Punch cut leaves a good draw delivering cedar and vanilla.
First Third: Vanilla, cream, cedar, leather and pepper all present, adding orange and honey occasionally. Flavorful but very mild. Erratic burn early but manageable. Smoke output is continuous though light. End of the first third settles with fewer notes, mainly cedar and light cream.
Middle Third: Cedar and leather are the lonely pair through most of the middle third. Cream appears and leaves just as quickly. Burn has corrected nicely and ash still holding at 2 inches.
Final Third: No changes in the final third, an uneventful finish.
Overall: A marked difference between this and my experience with the #2 and #4. I hope to try this again with a drink pairing to accentuate its flavors.

Well first off Montefortuna’s selection and prices rarely disappoint. With that said I started smoking no4’s about 12-15 years ago and I’ve always relied on their products. To sum it up yes, a big fan of this brand. The petit Edmundo’s hit solidly on what makes Monte what they are….please don’t hesitate on these for any reason whether it be rg or length. It’s a winner, can’t stop reaching for um.
