The Montecristo Dumas Línea 1935 offers us a magnificent panorama of deep tobacco nuances, good smoke density and greater strength than the classic blend of the Montecristo Brand.
The Montecristo Cigar Brand refers to the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas, The Count of Montecristo, one of the most demanded reading by the Cuban cigar rollers at the factories.
The Montecristo Dumas Línea 1935 have cigar factory format Prominente Corto, it is a 49 ring gauge x 130mm long, with a medium to high strength, it is characterized by natural brown, quite silky, fine. A velvety touch wrapper, manufactured totally by hand.
The Montecristo Dumas Línea 1935 has a very characteristic flavor, intense tobacco, roasted, smoked wood, quite sweet, earthy, with dried fruit, ripe fruit and spicy. Leaving memories of raisins, vanilla, smoked cedar, coffee and cocoa, hazelnut, molasses, pepper and a touch of rum. With an intense and long-lasting, pleasant and balanced aftertaste, the aroma is tobacco, spices, roasted, with light sweet tips that leave hints of coffee, pepper, vanilla, bitter almond and molasses, the ash medium gray with some grain, streaked with satin dark gray. Very durable and consistent.
Given its size and strength it is a perfect cigar for afternoon with a good coffee; it will give you from 30 to 45 minutes of smoke and it will perfectly pair with rum, cognac and whiskey.

Smoking all three Lineas I enjoyed Leyenda and Maltes more than i did this one. But i must say its still an impressive smoke whatsoever and I would definitely pick this if i had less time to smoke. I did find the Dumas to be a little more bitter then the rest of the line. I do strongly believe that this cigars will become much better with aging. I paired this with some Mojito made from Havana club Especial and although it paired good i would advise you that whatever you pair it with, it helps if the drink of your choice is sweeter. Stronger but sweeter coffee, stronger but sweeter Rum etc.
